2023 Club Survey
MESA COMMUNTY CLUB SURVEY RESULTS OCTOBER 16, 2023
The Mesa Community Club (MCC) sent out a Needs Assessment and Satisfaction Survey to community members in Mesa and the west side of Molina in July. All the results have been tabulated and reviewed by the MCC Board of Directors. We would like to share these results with the public and will post the complete results on our website and on the MCC bulletin board.
A total of 562 surveys were sent to postal customers in our Public Improvement District (PID). We received about a 20 % return to the survey which was just about the same response as the 2016 survey collected.
The overwhelming majority responded that the Community Center’s programs and activities were very important to the community and they were overall very satisfied with the Center.
The cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep of the facility was mentioned many times. The ability to use the MCC Facility for meetings and private events was also very important.
The most popular event by far was the Music in Mesa Summer Series. Community events, recreational opportunities and educational events held through the library programs were also well-liked.
Requests for programs currently not offered ranged from various exercise programs and a farmers market to movie nights and more educational programs.
The most important amenities offered by the Center were restrooms, kitchen and indoor space. Interestingly, the most requested addition to the Center was a swimming pool!
The response to the question of improving one thing about the Center was to have more evening offerings and to complete the Historic Gym Basement floor. The Board of Directors recently voted to finish the basement floor in the coming months.
Overall, the survey results were positive and very helpful in directing the MCC Board for future event and program planning as well as building improvements to serve our community better.
We would like to thank everyone who participated for all their help in completing this important survey project.
